Ok, I need advice. My heat just stopped working. Well, let me be more specific. It blows out hot, just has no pressure behind. No matter what level I put it on, it blows out at the same speed (which is hardly anything). Anybody know what could be the problem? I have a 98 Wrangler TJ.

blower motor resistors, fan is working, and i am guesing it ourns on and off, could be switch, but rare, 99% the resitors for the blower motor are bad located very near the blower fan follow the wires back from the blower motor.

Elcheapo fix would be to straight wire the fan. Make sure to use a relay and fuse. Will always be on high, but beats being cold.

Wasn't there a problem with the earlier TJ Wranglers with the wires behind the switch getting hot and melting the plastic covers off ths wires? I can't find the information on it now. I do remember reading about it somewhere.

Yes.
Usually indicates your switch is on it's way out.
*knocks on wood*
Mine is toasty, aka quick finger warmer if you need it, and has been for ~ 4 years now.
It heats up if it's on at all, but it works fine. :D
Sooo, It hasn't been replaced.
