Chris Dorner is holed up in a house. Firefight on live TV. Apparently it's a little crazy in Big Bear right now. Get online, there's dozens of live feeds going currently. I'm trying to find a good one. This might be coming to an end soon!

okay. i missed the beginning. so they had him in a cabin? there was a shoot out.....and now they cant find him?

Looks like he just took his own life. CHP lost one of their own in the earlier gunfight. I'll bet there are a lot of officers who wish they had pulled the trigger on Dorner.

I'm not saying this guy is in the right, or there's any justification for killing people... but frankly I was really hoping he would evade them for a long time and this would continue to draw out the worst of the LAPD. They've already shown their ass pretty good, unfortunately this will probably be quelched pretty quickly.
 
Yeah, they really kinda screwed the pooch with the manhunt. They did get it tied up pretty quickly, though. Remember Eric Robert Rudolph? It was like watching the Keystone Cops, only with innocent lives being threatened in the process. Not a good thing.
 
Yeah, but Eric was a North Carolina boy on his home soil. Every snake handling, speaking in tounges, inbred hillbilly was feeding and hiding him in the root cellar. He finally got caught dumpster diving behind a Walmart by a minimum wage security guard after a multimillion dollar FBI effort for months. We were in Tellico several times durring the man hunt. Black Crown Vics behind every tree.
 
I think what irritates me about this case is that they (LAPD and the press) are making him out like a huge public threat that is a major enemy to society and has to be taken down at all costs. But if you look at the numbers... he only killed 2 people and hurt a cop. While that is tragic, there are tons of cases where somebody has killed more than that, and been generally more dangerous to more people... but they don't get a million $$ reward put on them and massive dragnet manhunts like this. Frankly if I lived in CA I wouldn't feel teh least bit personally threatened by or worried about this guy. He has made it clear he has a specific target and 99% of people aren't it.
I'm sorry but it's clear that they are making a big deal out of it only b/c they (LAPD etc) feel like they've been bitchslapped and can't have somebody calling them out.

im not much of a conspiracy theorist, but i can see where they are gonna jump all over this. taking a page from the john wilkes booth story....

man commits high profile murder.
massive man hunt.
man eludes capture at the cost of Law enforcements honor.
man is holed up in a low visibility structure.
man is killed with no witnesses.

story over.



with pulling a body from a charred building its gonna make visually identifying the body hard for the public.
LAPD asked media to back out, and pull choppers out of visual range. reason being they were worried dorner had a TV and could watch swat movements.
every thing is going to have to come at the word of the california law enforcement, not the highest degree of trustworthyness.

the nutjobs are gonna be all over this.

im just glad he was pushing liberal agendas.


the only hole is that Booth only wanted to kill one man, and succeeded then disappeared. Dorner didnt succeed on his major targets. probably wouldnt dissapear.

No such thing was found in the cabin, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman told reporters moments ago, because cabin is still burning and is too hot to search.

It was actually a Murphy police officer making his rounds.
 
Check out what he wrote before he went in this rampage. This man was seriously intelligent and smart. He planned this for weeks. Reading his essay sends chills down my back.
 
I don't see anyway you could tell how intelligent he was by his manifesto, the only piece of genius I saw was the part about the bicyclist....

More less ramblings from a man who felt he has been done wrong his whole life and that he was the only one done wrong and that he should in no way have been held responsible for the fights he got in during his youth, the fellow LEO he tried to strangle for using the N word, or the people he killed in his rampage. In fact he goes as far as too blame guns, guns shops and gun manufactures for his killing spree. A part I noticed was he actually seems to believe a silencer is going to make him the most effective assassin ever, guess that didn't pan out.

The LAPD should be brought to there knees for killing the one woman and shooting needlessly at her and her daughter in the p/u and the other WHITE guy in a different pick up that wasn't even the same color or make. Obviously these so called trained professionals have a lot heavier of a trigger finger than the average joe blow who has his rights come under fire at every election. Was Dorner wrong or right? Don't know and couldn't care, we have all been wronged in life but I don't p/u my AR and wage war on a person or there faimly for it. Like that mans daughter had anything to do with what he had done. Quite frankly I believe he deserved to die a fiery way just for that even though, par for the course I'm sure he shot himself first.

In my opinion this is as big or bigger of a deal than the rest of the situation. Nutcases will be nutcases regardless of law and order, but when the law is shooting women and white men because they are looking for a black man in a similar truck, there is no order.
 
wasnt his whole point about how inept the california law enforncement was? aside from the fact that the finally got him (or didnt get him, depending on which media outlet) it was a pretty inept man hunt. point made.
