Long story short, I noticed my temp tag died yesterday so I moved another tag onto my truck for the weekend till I can go to dmv Monday am. I was driving through town today and got pulled for tag. I was just going 1 mile from house to Fd to grab some ice. I had just had a shot (or 2) and figured what's the worst that cam happen... Oh, I don't have my wallet either. Luckily the dispatcher knew me and my Fd sticker got me home. Anyone have a clue what it will cost me to transfer tag and tax/title on a $6k truck?

A lot less than a DUI because you got pulled for having the wrong tag!

But I'd say in the neighborhood of $250-$300? The tax/tags for a $3700 car I did recently was $179.
