Maybe this will cool you down some. Pics are taken by the guy that plows the road. This is Imogene pass outside Ouray CO. Pics were taken in June. (While we were sweating away here, he's still wearing long underwear to work.)
These were taken at close to 14,000 feet above sea level. That's why there are no trees. These are the view from the top. The first pic is Dave, the guy that does the plowing. Uses a D5 cat. Those are clouds in the background. That's how far up it is.
