I was going out the front door this evening with the trash and this fellow decided to drop down across my arm to say hello...

I've only seen it rain snakes while on the Northeast Cape Fear river years ago, it's much more exciting when they fall on you while your in a canoe or jonboat :eek:o_O

He's a black snake. Don't know what the hell he was doing on top of the door. I've seen him in the flower pots on the front porch before.

I don't think he read the fine print in his contract.... Black snake is welcome under or around the house unless snake decides to come in the house. In the event snake enters the house, snake would be executed by way of shovel.

I spilled my trash on the front porch, hurt my knee on the rail as a was falling back into the house and trying to close the door at the same time. Wife thought it was pretty funny while I was fighting for my life. Pretty embarrassing after I could breathe again.
 
I would have classified that as a terrorist attack and engaged the enemy. I dont mind snakes as long as I can see them from a distance. Drop on me and I will shoot to kill.

....Yea...I almost got shot by my mother the other day, I was teaching her how to use her new gun (first time she had ever used a handgun) a few days before her CCW class when I stepped on a black rat snake in the field setting up a target for her. I saw it as I was stepping, jumped away and calmly said "there's a snake right there"...She proceeded to scream, "WHERE!!?!?" with the gun drawn and pointed in the general direction of me and the snake....yea me and the snake were side by side running for our lives on that one. :lol:

I'm with you, if I see the snake first I'm fine, but if it sneaks up on me, it might just be the last thing it does.

Then again...I have one of those sick twisted wives that will just go pick up a snake and throw it at you...:eek:

I've found the surveillance video from it, shows the snake flinging out the door and the trash being tossed. I'll post it when I figure out what a .sec file is.

Same here! If they sneak up on me skin crawls, I feel faint, hair on neck stands straight up!!! Once I recover then I find whatever killing device is nearby and commense to killing it!!!!
