so i fried my old laptop, but i have a new one. and i have salvaged my old hard drive by buying an enclosure and turning it in to an external drive.
i used to sync my iphone on my old computer.
my iphone crashed and i had to do a hard restore, lost all contacts, apps, pics, music, etc.
i have replaced the library file in itunes with the old library file. however that only imported all the music, not the apps, pictures, and most importantly my contacts.
it could be possible i never set in my preferences to sync my contacts, i don't know if it does it automatically or not.
so what file on my hard drive is going to be the magic file that i need to import to the new itunes to recover my contacts? and is it going to pose a problem that i was running xp on the old computer and windows 7 on this one?
