I've always liked bigger rigs with big axles, big tires, big engines.....but times are changing. This is my new project. Trying to decide whether or not to keep just the cab or ditch everything...leaning more towards a buggy than a cab truck. The suspension will be totally reworked and dropped back close to stock. Plans are for a light weight rig that is very low and manuverable. Light weight for the trails and so i can pull it with my tahoe.

1983 Toyota

rebuilt 3.8liter chevy
turbo 350 w/ b/m shifter
stock toy t-case
stock axles w/ 4.10 gears
booty fab lift
3" body lift
dual exhaust

Does anyone have any interest in buying the body and cab...pretty good shape..very little rust in the bed at the corners of the floor...very little...The whole thing has been covered in roll on bedliner.

Also what do you guys recommend.. 63" chevy rear springs or one link with a pandhard bar? I already have the coil springs, mounts, and most of the material for the one link.

P.S. sorry for the crappy pics...picture phone is all i had

I'd go with the one-link. Rediculous flex + no axle wrap to worry about = cool. 63's may be cheaper, but you lose departure angle, 'specially with a buggy.

one link

It is in boone, about 2 miles from ASU at a U-haul storage place...That's the only place i could afford to keep it. As far as suspension goes, i'm pretty sure i will one link it.
