Dang...knew that quiting the cigarettes would extend your life...but 302 years....Wow...:flipoff2:

Quit the cigs 10 years ago...then some evil friends got me back into cigars a year or so ago...Now I can't wheel or camp without them.

congrats.
Gave up dipping May 03.

Still like an occasional Cigar around camp and even a chew once or twice a year. But its nice to not bee hampered by the monkey

Just wait.. you're going to taste food like never before!

Congrats... I'm going on 3-4 years now after 10+ smoking

smoking is one of those things. alot of people,just don't want to quit.

you're going to have to motivate him from with in. some how make him think that he wants to quit, with out you badgering him.

Congrats dude!

any sugg. on how to get my brother to stop??

you could do like Casey said he would do to me...
"Everytime you light up around me from now on, I'll use an extinguisher to put out the fire."

:lol:

thanks everybody, for the support :beer:

Good job Bowtieman! :beer::beer::beer:

The hardest thing you'll ever do. But I did it 4 years ago, after smokin 2-4 packs a day for 20+ years. And losin that "Monkey" is GREAT! (More Jeep Money!)

Got enuff things tryin to kill us. And we only got so much time here for da beers and da womens. Shame to waste any of it!! LOL!

Again..Congrats...dig dig dig!:beer::beer::beer:

I think the main reason I've never smoked anything is that i watched my grandfather die of lung cancer when i was young. sure my grandfather suffered for a while, but what about my mom and my aunt and my grandmother who were left after he died?? what about me who never got to hang out with his grandpa? i think smoking is one of the most selfish things you could do. i don't mean to offend anyone by that comment but what about your kids 20 years from now? what about your spouse who will be a widow w/o you?

any ways congrats on quiting!
