Izuzu axle

Anyone know what kind of rear axle is in a 90, 91 Izuzu amigo . I noticed one in a junkyard with disc brakes and was thinking of a possible swap for my cj

Rodeos have a rear D44...amigos have a corporate (or so this kid on a parkin lot that had one lifted and stopped to talk about my jeep told me)

Not sure about amigos, but its probably the same as my trooper. I have a 91 trooper that has an isuzu 12 bolt with disk brakes. 6 lug like toyotas, third member, disk brakes and pretty strong from what I can tell. Mine held up great with welded spider gears with 36s and now 38s and a V8.

Any websites with Trooper/Rodeo axle info? I'm seeing some with 4.56 ratios and some say locking. What's the deal?

the axle is tough as shit. approx. 8.75" ring, 3rd member design, etc. locker options are ARB, stock LSD, or you can sign up for a special production lockright at 4x4wire. Gear ratios are 4.10 (kinda rare) 4.30, 4.56 (most common) 4.77, and 5.38 (tera). the one you're looking at should be about 57.5-58" wide.

Will an Isuzu Dana 44 fit under a Cherokee? What's the lug pattern?

Not sure how close the widths are but the lug pattern is 6x5.5
