Alright... I know we've talked about it a lot, but I'll ask again anyway...

Anyone got good day-trip places to go in Johnston County? I know there's a place "trailer park" off of 50, but where else is there?

Since they got rid of them "Dump" off new Hope in Raleigh, I've been at a loss for getting a quick fix locally (besides tearing up the back 40 at my house).

Thanks,
JayT

Nope, nuttin, if there were legal place in JC, I'd know about it.

Head toward Princton, place called Buckle Berry, some hils and holes, lotta mud, bring a winch and a friend, you will get stuck. Pay to play there, last I heard, $5 per vehicle and $5 per player. ($10 just to play) Haven't been there in years

Hey,

yea, i've been to Buckleberry a while back when i had my quad. it's actually closer to goldsboro i think. fun place, lots o' mud. not exactly sure how much they have for Jeeps, etc tho. there's also Big Dawg's in Greenville. again, haven't been there with a Jeep but rode quads there once. i'm pretty sure they allow 4x4s tho. other than that, it's Uwharrie. or if you want to head towards the coast, the Croatan has some trails. those closest legal places i can think of.

buckleberry is fun on an ATV, open space to wind them out and some mud to play in. For the trail rig, there isn't much. a couple hills to play on and some mud if you're into that. don't waste your time

couple of hours of fun probably, I don't know about a whole day. I mean its pretty big, probably 800 acres

I thought someone went wheeling with Jesus H. Christ... what a letdown..

Hey,

Big Dawg's is closed?? wow, didn't know that. when/why did they close? trying to remember the last time i was there. guess it was several months ago now.
