I broke the norm and didn't end up with 4,000 pictures, this one is a good representative sample - I paired up with Tom and spent the day marking trails and picking up trash, toward the end we crossed path with one of the groups dragging guard rail:

My sincere thanks to all of the crews out there working today!! :driver:

Sorry I Got there LATE but I think the first try went really good for the Trail Gaurd Rail Hauler.
I think the concept WORKED!!!
Now to refine and tune for better performance! And I think we can haul more at a time then.

I am glad I "we" could try it and thanks for the help and ideas for improvement and on the trail first time assembly!

I liked being able to back up, and not loosening the soil on the trail.

I hope to improve by February work weekend and I hope I can keep My Jeep together for The March Event as well!

So does my Son. (His RC Jeep too)

I think it worked great and like you said with a few tweaks it will be perfect. Main thing being a wider / taller front tray so we could stack them higher and maybe 2 wide. Then put about a dozen on there. If you could get that done we could really get ready for the March workday in February by getting the rail in place in time. I was impressed by it.

one thing i thought of that might be handy is to make an attachment point at the rear center of the trailer (maybe even a pivot point). from there you could use or attach a jack so that you could shove/slide the trailer (in a series of moves) if needed to get around an obstacle or a tree. we could even get a piece of truck bed mat ( cut to fit the trailer bed) to place under the tires when needed for something like this or over sensitive ground.

when is the Feb work weekend?
If it is the 20th I may need to figure some scheduling out

I think it is that day. Hopefully I can get some dimensions on those draggers before then and get some made.
