Jan workday info

Just getting ready to post this. Thanks for posting it man.
 
I had a thought last night while winding down. Does the FS have any wheelbarrows we can use or can we acquire a few? I don't own one. It would be a good way to move some rocks around, depending on how far we have to go.
 
Good question. Do we have a way of getting them in there where we need them. I have one but got no way of getting it in too far into the trails.

I will inquire today and see what tgey have...
 
I will have my small trailer there for use also. It will need to be picked up at the double parking lot
 
We shouldn't need more than 3 of them. We should be able to get them in and out easy enough. I am planning to bring snappy's trailer in. The FS ones look really heavy
 
Will try to remember to bring mine then. Am getting up there in age though.

OK talked the wife into coming so it will be a whole family affair.

First time at a work day, do you think my 11yr old son and 7 yr old daughter will get in the way?
 
No. Bring them out. Can get them searching for cans and the Like's. Least what I have seen kids do out there.

I'll suit up and come out any ways, it's been forever since i've been out that way.
 
What a great turn out. Got a lot of work done today with numerous teams doing separate things on different trails. Big thanks for all coming out.
 
Hi everyone, just wanted to come in and say how awesome it felt today to help out with the workday. I felt like the teams were well organized, and a lot was accomplished. I was part of the UNCC4x4 working the rocks on Dutch John and I had a blast really. Also Snappy made some awesome stew. Definitely will be coming out to help on more workdays. Also if anyone has some pics of today, I'd like to see them.

Good to meet you guys. It was great to see new faces and you guys willing to split up as you did was a huge help...... Look forward to seeing uncc4x4 on the trail sponsor list this season.

Thank you guys for the help!! Glad to have you out there helping us fill the stream crossings and getting to meet you all. Great to have you on board and once again, food was amazing Snappy!

I've got tons of pics of the Dutch John crew, I'll get them uploaded tomorrow. I really enjoyed spending the day with y'all, looking forward to the next work day already! :)

Wow, what a great workday! We all out assaulted the work to be done on Daniel today, tons of teamwork and passion for what they were doing. We will be working on the front side(ledges side) next month. Lots of clubs out there today, CTB,CNC, Old North State Cruisers, RAW, Rover Owners Club, UNCC4x4, FJ Cruiser Club, Triad Jeep Club, and Full size Jeep Club and I am sure I am missing someone.

To all of you that worked on the Daniel Crew today THANK YOU, everyone busted there buts and got the job done with great comradery and having a blast while doing it.

Snappy, stew was awesome, thank you so much for putting in your time and materials for that meal. Everyone is use to leaving the woods after a long day hungry, sure wasn't the case today!
