Japanese mini trucks...

Every time I've looked into them, which was a good while back, I've found they are not street legal. If I can't drive it on the road I have no use for it. The DMV said I couldn't even tag it as a motorcycle. But I swear I've seen them driving on the road before.

There is a place on the corner of Garner Bangal BLVD and Wall St. in Statesville that sells them. Its right off of exit 49, I-77.

You can google street view and you'll see them. They also sell quads and such.

Lastly, hop over to the Gulches 4x4 forum. I remember seeing a number of those trucks down there and I think there are some posts with them involved.

there is one on 150 near not far from the farm in pumpkin center

all you need is a farm triangle on the back my buddie runs the on the road all the time but them again he does live in the sticks!

Those aren't quite the same, those are 3 wheelers.

A friend of mine has one they use on their farm, they just have a slow moving vehicle triangle on it and drive it locally on the road, although they cannot be "legalized" for the road in NC.

Who's the buddy? lol, I know of about 4 of these trucks in the Salisbury area.

My Dad bought one for the farm....cool little truck w/ a fold-down sided 8' flat-bed.

I can ride, too small to drive.

No, the one on 150 has been sitting there for at least 4 years, maybe more like 5, and hasn't moved. I pass it daily.

wonder what he wants for that thing???

either no intrest or he wants way too much cause its sat there for awhillllllllllleeeeee

I wonder if it's broken in some way, or if no one stops bc he has it in his field, way back off the road, and it would be a pain to get there to see it or ask about it. It's not even close enough to the road to get a phone number off the sign that used to be on it. I don't know if the sign is still there or sun battered to oblivion.

I've been working out that way for about 5 years now, and if it hasn't been sitting there the entire time, it's close.

I used to see them at tractor sales alot. Not quite so many now. A couple of years ago when I was seeing them alot they were going for around 2200-2500 for 2wds and 2500-3000 for 4wds. The Godley sale in Charlotte always had several, 4th Friday of every month.

those jokers are tough! we had a NCSU surplus one at my highschool and we ragged the ever loving shit out of it. we used to jump the pitchers mound wide ass open and then jump it through the drainage ditch by the soccer field
