JC/Save Tellico Crowd

Doubtfull. Revolutionary war road kills it. JMHO!

:fuck-you:them all. I will be opening a private park on my land today. I have 1/3 acre in the middle of town. Everyone can park at the city park across the street. The only obsticle I have is my wife's Dodge Intreped, but it doesn't leave the drive way anyway!!

"An agreement will protect nearly 1,500 acres in the North Carolina mountains from development, including part of a trail used in the Revolutionary War."

If you read my Conservation vs Preservation post you'd know the answer :) Protect = preserve = NO

Even w/ the "conservation" problem aside, you have to consider ownership and maintanance. E.g. it is owned by CSX. Why would they bother with opening an ATV/4WD park there, which they would have to then operate and maintain? Who owuld actually be there to take care of it? that's just more expense and headache for a company that has much bigger problems.

One of the comments on the website was this:
I agree with that anoiselesspatientspider, no cell phone towers and frankly no people should be there either. How about a place for all the bears that keep ending up in the city or for just the wildlife in general? I think man has taken way too much of their land. It would be kind of nice to give a little bit of it back.
