ok here goes, 93 yj 5 speed ford injectors,4.0 throttle body and spacer, mini van fuel regulator, exhaust, firepower coil-8mm wires.

driving to get grocery's and lost all power pulling out of driveway, pulled its self back to house in first around 2500 rmp anything under or over no power and backfiring through intake.

take to shop today check
fuel pressure ok
spark fine
timing fine
valves working as should
compression good
stops running all together, check crank sensor bad ( great found problem)
off to parts store and $66 later jeep runs but is doing same thing as before stopped running so now what?

I think I have ruled out mechanical thinking bad computer? Anyone around WS trade 5 minutes with there computer for a 6 pack?

I'm doing vortec swap but need as DD until wife gets new vehicle. another story but Hemi in her jeep let the #1 piston go so now she has my truck. Will fix hemi but she wants new ride so that's on back burner.

for help for others after going through all the mechanical again I noticed a variance in fuel pressure as the rpm changed. When I got another set of hands I had them keep the jeep running from inside the cab as I was having no luck using the throttle body and looking at gauge. Keeping the jeep running causing it to backfire resulting in the pressure going from 40 down to 10-15. Pulled the tank and found the rubber line from pump to hard full line collapsed and the rubber holding the fuelpump and strainer in about gone. Put new line on and up and running for now. Got to try and find replacement rubber parts with out buying new pump?

i've found a couple cases of the in tank lines like yours rotted in the last couple years-gotta love what ethanol does to rubber fuel system parts!
