I have a 1997 jeep tj with a engine and trans out of a 94 yj with a 2.5 L.
It seems that when I put the transmission in drive it and give it 10% throttle it will run rough and stall out. I can put it in reverse and it has plenty of power and will move just fine. I've tried to disconnect the lock up switch thinking that the converter is locking up, which didn't help. I didn't know what was goin on with it just curious if anyone had any advice. Runs great when the trans is in park or neutral, no stalling ( only when it is in gear)
