Jeep 4.0 question

I have a 4.0 from a 92 Wrangler swapped into my CJ. I (think) have an exhaust leak from where the PaceSetter header connects with the y-pipe (the rest of the exhaust is welded solid so little or no chance for a leak anywhere else).

Is there a gasket that's supposed to go in the joint between the exhaust manifold and the y-pipe?

OEM uses a doughnut between the collector and downpipe

FWIW, this is what the header looks like. Should I just smear some high temp RTV on the flange and call it good? Will a fix like that last?

That collector should seal without anything additional. But some hi temp rtv won't hurt
