Jeep 5.2 Fit -4.7 ??

Have a 99 grand cherokee , w 4.7 V8 , can get a 5.2 from a 98 Jeep , is this the same motor as far as mounts ,injection ? will it bolt up ?? Im not a dode guy , so any help is appreciated - Thanks

The 4.7 is blown , and they are hard to find down here .The 5.2s are more abundant

there are probably alot of things that you would have to change. it would probably be just as economical IMO to just find a 4.7

Try marsh auto parts. The keep quite a bit of late model Jeep stuff. Its usualy low mileage too.

I was thinkin bout it to you may not pass inspection with a 5.2 in the truck either.
