just bought a 1980 cj-7 and it needs hubs, how many splines are on these stubs

jeep front hubs
I assume that you are talking about a 'stock' D30 front lockout? I know I will get a rash over this, but without going $$$ (internal style), Superwinches are pretty good. I ran a set for years with a 304, Superior shafts, 4:56's, 34" TSL's and a Lockright (all up front). Never had to bolt up the spares. I broke LOTS of stocker-hubs open diffs and 31's. At the time, they were much cheaper than Warns and lots of guys had them. I actually broke the Superior stubs
a couple times and the hubs lived.
