So, watching the Superbowl like a bunch of you probably are. Wtf is the deal with us having to close places like Tellico, and Jeep has commercials of their shit driving up a pristine Creek through the woods. Don't their pr people know any damn better. It just pisses me off.

Saw that too. First thing I thought of was the creek at Tellico and the whole fiasco that ensued with the environazis...

Looked like rockbouncing instead of finesse crawling. I like it.

Yeah they must have forgotten the "Professional driver on closed course." caption.
I noticed in the last commercial, where the wrangler went up the waterfall, that it said in small print at the bottom of the screen that it was a man made lake and waterfall and to always wheel responsibly or something of that nature.

Disclaimer or not they were still promoting driving that gets land shut down. That would be like have a pregnant woman drinking a bud-light and some small words at the bottom telling you that she is just a actress and warning about the dangers of drinking during pregnancy. People don't read the fine print, they look at the cool and flashy pictures and they count on that to sell more crap.

I watched the ad on youtube this morning, it did say it was a man made lake and waterfall. On a side note that looks like a fun little climb.

Maybe I'm out of touch, but whats the harm in driving in a creek? Every creek I've ever seen has trash in it and is constantly changing. Every river is 10 times worse. Sure, if your vehicle is hemorraging fuel or oil, that needs to be addressed, creek or not. Just because the envirohippies condemn it doesn't make it something awful. Have you ever seen how much a huge rain changes the landscape of a creek and deposits trash/oil/endangered snails/etc? Are we really to the point of "Oh no, they drove in a creek! Crucify them!" ? If so, the left has won.

Mike my mom literally called me and told me to google the ads (she was excited), I did and was more than appalled.
#1 fuck the NFL (and outback steakhouse and cut boggers)
#2 yes Jeep really shit the bed on these ads. looked like they were all filmed at Richlands trail and do nothing but fuel the tree hug fire
#3 why dont they show them crawling on yellow bollards and parking weird, thats what 99% of them will end up doing anyway
