Jeep Expo for Miracles - Hickory, NC - Sept. 29th

I will be there with my Jeep (90 yj mangler-sort of), and I am the DJ. So I will have some equipment and some cd's and an open mic for announcements and winners.

we should set up a NC4x4 meet and greet time somewhere around the event. It'd be much easier to find each other then haha

i think were gonna bring some jeeps and the rti ramp ..well have some flyers for the rock harvest so come by the tent

take pictures for those of us that are hella far from hickory and have a state game to go to

Any reason to drag the ol Jeeps out! :driver:

Ill make it! Wont be registered tho...missed that!

Wonder if you can register the day of the show? I was thinking about bringing the wife and daughters Jeeps as well.

I pmed HannahWCU and received an answer of yes, late/same day registration around 9:30ish.

Yes you can register the day of the event. Didn't want to publish that too early, wanted to try to get an accurate count of the number of participents. But at this point, it would be kind-of hard to mail it in.

So, YES, there is registration available the day of the event.

guys, whoever may be interested, after the Jeep expo, we are going to have some:beer: afterwards at my house, any NC4x4er's are welcome to come by and have a few beers, over 21

Now that sounds like a plan! :driver:

I don't have my POS running yet, but I will be making the trip to my parents that morning and will defenitly be be stopping by. Maybe I can find some of you all there. Hard to miss Chips jeep.

Cya there.

Is there going to be a raffle or anything? Greg Slade and Ryan Adams @ 4wheel parts have given me a few prizes for this event. I just need to figure out what to do with them. They would like for the prizes to help earn more money for this needy cause.

This just happened today so please forgive the lastminuteness!

Great turn out for a first event and went to a great cause. Good to meet alot of new people and good to see some old friends. Hope this event takes place next year with even more Jeeps.

IT was a great event. Over a $1000 earned for the Children's Miracle Network. I think they said 43 Jeeps entered. IF you didn't go, you missed some really great Jeeps. Some old metal that looked much better than new. Some great trail rigs, some bone stockers, and some very rare as well.

Fun was had with the RTI ramp, and the balance beam. Walking around oogling others Jeeps. Kids dancing to the DJ's songs, Ice Cream, and just good ol chit chat with new and old friends.

I got to meet some folks from here, as well as see some old friends.

Door prizes given away through out the day. 50/50 raffle, prizes for different categories.

Look forward to the next fund raiser!

Here's some pics, enjoy

Had a good time as well. Lot of great looking rides old, new, big and bad. It was a great turn out for a first time event. Good to put some faces with the names during the day too. Thanks for posting the pics Chip.

Ok oK...no boby wants to toot their own horn....so i will.

Congrats to Steve(89 wrangler) He won the best 'PURPOSE BUILT AWARD' a verry tough rig with all the bells and whistles the judges were looking for.

I (Dylan Wiles) won the balance beam with a time of 5 sec or something like that.I received a 100$ gift cert from Extreme Machines....Way cool !

I am not sure of the other winners, but there were alot of cool jeeps and folks in attendance, with lots of great givaways all day long. Thanks for a great event, for a great cause.
