everything but the welder. Honestly thought about just buying a welder since I was gonna spend 500 on a rear bumper/carrier and still need a front bumper. Anyone have any plans/advice on building one?

If you don't need your backseat stow it in the back. You can devise a way to attach it to the seatbelt mounts using a threaded j hook and a wing nut and washer. I actually went the the junkyard and got an assembly from a vehicle that had the spare mounted inside.

Thats how it was before. I put on the cj tailgate, took out the backseat and slapped it in. I've been driving the kids around alot lately in it and don't like the idea of running around without a spare with the kids. Wish I would have known b4 my dumba$$ decided to put on the cj tailgate.

I am using a Wilderness tire carrier/bumper on my Jeep. The only con I have had thus far is that it does not have a "lock open". It is something I have been planning on correcting, just not a big enough problem to make it a priority.
