I have a '03 TJ and all of a sudden my headlights stopped working. My High beams work but I have to run with Highs for about 10 minutes before the regular headlights will kick in and start working. Once they work then they keep working until I cut the car off. Once I cut it off then I have to go through the same process of running High Beams before the regulars work again. Any ideas?

not sure about the tj's, but I would look for a ground problem. Usually there are ground wires on the grill coming from the lights. I have had this happen and it was a loose screw from the ground.

i've been having kinda the same problem but with my turn signals. i'm thinking it has something to do with a ground as well. my signals will indicate one or 2 is out, i'll go out and hit close to where the light is and it will come right back on. so thats why i'm guessing its a ground problem

Great, now that I read this my headlights are going to start messing up too. I think it either sounds like a ground problem or maybe a problem with a relay or your headlight switch. Just a guess.

I initially thought that it would be a grounding issue or something as well but the High Beams run off of the exact same ground which makes no sense why they would work and not the regular beams. The lights have been working ok the past few days (knock on wood). Hopefully the problem fixed itself. If not I will just keep going around beaming people. My headlights sit high enough right now that even regular beams blind people why not go ahead and give them a full blinding :flipoff2:. Thanks for the help guys!
