Ever since my son (will be 4 on the 27th) saw this on TV, he has been telling everyone that Santa is bringing him one. We tried the old "not gonna fit in the sleigh " line, no dice. He tells me Santa can drive it over and he will give him a ride back.
If you don't know, the stupid thing is like $400.

Specs:
Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane is a battery-powered SUV that kids 3 and up can hop in and drive. It is such a dead-ringer for the real thing that you could almost envision it plowing over rocky terrain in a TV ad. It features Ultimate Terrain Traction, taking it places no other battery powered ride-on can go. Its premier play feature includes an interactive dashboard with built-in navigation system tied into the steering wheel and shifter.
Power Wheels Jeep Hurricane
* 2 seat, 12v Power Wheel with Ultimate Terrain Traction
* Drives 2.5 and 5mph forward and 2.5 mph in reverse
* Large 16" tires, cupholder, a real FM radio, an adjustable seat and battery charge indicator that monitors battery charge status.
* As the child drives, turns right or left or places the vehicle in reverse, directional lights will blink on the dash and audio sounds and/or phrases will indicate direction.
Well, the lovely wife is finishing up her shopping for the year at Linens and things, and I get a frantic phone call.
They have it for $349 and 20% off.
Less than $300 out the door. Woohoo.
But still almost as much as I paid for the Commando.

You should get him a real Jeep Hurricane. Twin 5.7L Hemi motors, 4 wheel steering, coilovers, carbon fiber body, and 38's stock. That would make a good christmas present. :driver:

Maybe it'll snow on Christmas, then you can just put some truck tracks out in your yard and when you son wakes up and doesn't see one under the tree you can tell him that Santa had to use it to pull his sled through the snow. And then show him the tracks in the front yard.

It's a Jeep.. Tell your kid that it broke down on the way. :flipoff2:

we bought the Jeep Huricane for my son for Christmas. ToysRus has several coupons out there rite now which brought the price down to $300.

We are looking at it for my son as well. Where did you find the coupon? We havent been able to find it for less than around 400? Was it an instore coupon?? THanks DJ

...and he'll probably take all the bypasses just like dad!
I am teaching him right. You saw him riding the Power Wheels 4wheeler at Callalantee, did it look like the downhill he hit was a bypass?

The 20% off coupon was stapled to the side of the box @ Linens and Things. I know the one we got in Hickory was the last one.
FWIW, Toys-r-Us has a green one instead.

Thanks man. I lucked out and found a store here in Columbia that has four left on clearance. WOOHOO The wife is headed there now to get it. Thanks Again. DJ
