How hard is it to put on a body lift?I'd like to put it on a 77CJ5.Is there anyone in my area that could give advice on the lift ? and What size tires/spacers... I could then install.I'd be glad to bring the jeep by your shop...
Thanks,Daniel

Check my build thread I did a budget body lift on the TJ you might can get some Ideas, The link is in my Sig.

biggest obstacle will be rusted corroded body mounts. On a TJ, it can be as easy as remove old rubber and hardware, replace with new. CJ's usually involve welding new metal to fix the crusty old body mount outriggers.

Thanks for the tips.I just put new shocks in the rear and it helped it out a bunch. It was hopping in the rear when I gas it too much. The shocks were totally dead. Now I don't have that problem and it raised the rear a bit.
As far as the body mounts;1 needs replacing the rest are fine.I think I may just go with 31x10.50's.They should fit OK I guess.I really just want the tires to be flush with the fender flares.Right now I have a set of 235 75 15 on 15x8 wheels. They just come to the body...
