I'm about to dive headlong into my new Project KLS7....and because I live in a HOA now and such...new project means a toy needs to leave.
I rarely if ever drive the LJ and even though it was a goal vehicle for years, time to let someone else enjoy it. I know the TJ market has cratered. But Ive heard the LJ has held up better, but honestly, I'm out of touch.

And obviously its the wrong time to be selling a jeep, those are best sold in late spring.

So educate me - smart people. Where would you sell an LJ for minimal hassle reasonable but not necessarily absolute top dollar.

Thanks in advance.

$4000-40000 based on the information provided newbie :flipoff2:
fair....and it aint 40k and i wont sell it for 4k (or 9k)....but...dont know where the sweet spot is and this aint a for sale ad.

Year, miles, trim, condition, transmission, mods? Honestly that sounds like a good deal for both of us. Text me some pics and info.

Here is my data point for you. High mileage LJR with a manual, runs and drives, everything it needs is probably parts the average user would swap anyway (tires and suspension), Still in my driveway.

I hear ya.
Honestly not a lot of info to gleam. Kinda the polar opposite.

Under 100k miles. Non Rubi.
Auto
Gen right cage
Zero rust. Zero. None. Really.
Factory ac and factory cruise work.
Lift and 35

Clist....$5 per ad
Offerup...free, but clunky...not sure how many people are looking for cars there
Marketplace....free, if you wanna deal with FB
Privateauto.....more $expensive, site traffic there is not known/are cars really selling?
autotrader private....more $expensive
I'm working on wyndscreen, in beta phase now, testing....free and easiest

The AC and Cruise on mine work, yeah, otherwise very different. An automatic LJ with a clapped out frame popped up on marketplace place for $8k and was gone pretty quickly recently, otherwise the market seems pretty weak on base model automatics.

Tell me more....

I commented on another post and I'm not gong to get political in here but I'm not sure what's going on with prices right now. Seems a lot of people are holding on to there money a little tighter then they were in the past few years.

If it's that clean why not Bring A Trailer?
Sounds like their market. And then you don't have to set a price outside a reserve

I don't think jeeps do all that well on the auction sites (carsandbids or BaT). But maybe they are just bringing what the market will allow right now.

Another data point for you @Ron there is an automatic LJ Rubicon, white, in Garner at a dealership right now listed for $17k? Pretty sure it was a sub 100k unit, and the price has been lowered a few times.
