Some one above me mentioned a jeep will last 200,000 miles if you dont modify it....BFD. the FJ60's will run for 400,000 miles...and thats with 35 inch tires and wheeling it every summer.
Comparing a truck to an Acura wasn't such a great comparison, as has been noted. First off, of course your Acura runs better...what's it weigh, 2000lbs LESS than a 1500 Chevy truck? Even a 1500 with 300hp wouldn't run all that great. A Vortec was 255, starting in 1996, and they ran okay. A lot better than the 95's did.I appologize, looking back at my response I was simply stating engine to engine. I had several full size chevys and was greatly disappointed at what the engine would do. I felt that the structure was good, but the engine was lacking greatly in both chevys.
Oh, and I'd like to see some pics of a real FJ60 that's got 400k on its original engine/tranny/t-case and has been DD'd and wheeled on 35s its whole service life.
