Jeep soft doors

I bought a set of 2 piece soft doors for my Heep for winter wheeling. The zippers are still in good condition, but hard to move. What type lubricant is best to ease the zippers.

I've heard rubbing bar soap on the teeth will make it easier to operate.

When I had a softop, I used to spray silicone lubricant on the zippers. It was supposed to be OK with the fabric, seemed to work well.

i used to take liquid wrench and put it on a rag and wipe it on the zippers

I have found Vodka doe a great job of loosening zippers, ditto for Goldschlager...


Ok in all seriousness, vegetable oil is the way to go here.
i know Im a cheap bastid and all that jazz, its ok.
Serious try a lil veggo oil, especially if the zips have plastic faces or liners

Sillycone spray lube works very.
