Im getting the rough country 4" suspention lift kit. Im thinkin of putting my leaf perches on top of my axles just not sure if i need any additional items like longer shocks or anything for my steering or will my drive shafts be effected not sure about anything all this is new to me. If anyone could help that would be great thank you

4" lift + the 5-6" gained from going Spring-Over-Axle is a lot. You might be able to get by with the "standard 4" lift" shocks, but the lower mounting points will have to be also moved. Install the lift, flex it out and see what length shocks fit, that's the proper way to do it.
How big of a tire are you planning on running? The stock rear Dana 35 is worthless even with stock tires. I wouldnt bother going SOA with the D35, that'd be a good time to upgrade the rear axle. With bigger tires, you'll also need to regear your axles, etc., etc...
And your steering and driveshaft angles will have to be addressed.
I can't bite my tongue any longer, you don't have a V6, its an inline-6

regegade is right. going soa is no walk in the park. the 35's are crap. id go at least a 8.25 from an xj. 8.8's work perfectly, i am running on 32" shocks front and 26"shocks rear, you will need a absolute minimum of a longer rear ds. your best with a sye kit. you will need a better steering set up and much longer brake lines and you will need to regear your axles. id reccommend either 4.56 or 4.88 with 35's. what your aiming for is exactly what i have. i have soa with 2"body and 2" lift springs. 35's with an 8.8. it drives perfectly with me and i also have the wj brake and steering conversion. definitely do your research and buy all your stuff before you even attempt a soa lift.. if you need help with finding stuff i will be more than happy to help you through it.
