Jeep TJ Flush mount LED Tail Light Install Question?

Ok we are installing full corner guards on my Jeep. I think I want to do LED flush mount tail lights.

The left side is no problem. The right side has a Canister that has something to do with the fuel

system right behind the body .

I do not know the actual depth of the LED lamps.

I am going by the depth of some old school round lights that I just have. Anybody have any

experience with this install???

Most of the 4" round LEDs on the market are very slim and have a flat back compared to the standard incandescent with a convex back. Here is a Truck Lite brand grommet mounted LED.

We have done several of these. You shouldnt run into that canister, unless you have some real deep LEDs.

But do not disturb that canister! If you unhook or crack a hose accidentally, it will set a code.

That is part of the EVAP system!
