I just rebuilt the t case with SYE and installed cable shifter. Won't shift in 4lo. Its in 4 hi now and the front driveshaft is out. Still drives and is mobile.

I am out of time and would like to get someone to fix this. Worst case it needs to be pulled back out and opened up to figure out what is wrong. Does anyone recommend a shop/person to look at this? I'm in south Charlotte. I know plenty of people here who are capable of doing this work, but most of them work on the fab side of this business and don't do maintenance work.

I don't know any local mechanic shops I trust to take it to. TIA.

Some the sye kits require you to shorten the shift rail because the cover is not as deep as the original. If you didn't, I bet that is the issue. Easy to remediate. I'm not really "local" to Charlotte but not that far either. If you want to ride down and wait on it, I should be able to get you fixed up pretty quickly. I'm in Rutherfordton, about an hour and a half ride, thirty minutes from Shelby.
