hello guys, new member here...I was reading about similar thread from 2014 and I was seeing good comments...I was wondering if there is anyone in Charlotte Area that has experience lifting XJ's that could be willing to help me with mine?
My 2001 XJ is stock and in good condition the only problem is that needs new suspensions and a nice 3" lift...

Anyone with a car lift that would be willing to help/host me in their garage?
Cheers!!!

I'm in Conover NC, run a Fab Shop doing LS swaps mostly but still do a lot of work on XJs, lift kits, 1Ton swaps etc so if you can't find anyone local, hit me up.

thank you!!! For sure I will let you know in the upcoming weeks...I have only Saturdays mostly to work on the Jeep as I travel for work during the week... I will finish up the interiors and then will move on to suspensions :) thx!!!

Nice XJ!
Have a SYE and driveshaft?
Adjustable track bar?
Which lift kit?
I don't seem to have issues with the sleep yoke as of now and there is no rattling banging sounds I might wait and see...I would love to do that and driveshafts but again...how much money should i put in a $4K jeep lol...but yest that is eventually a great upgrade. As far as concerning the lift I wanted to stay in budget with a RC 3" lift....I need new leaf springs mine are bent backward LOL...maybe invest some money in better shocks vs the RC ones...what would you recommend (price/value/quality)?

Generally the 97 up's have DS vibrations when lifting. Mainly because the output doesn't have a tail cone from what I believe. Only solution is longer shaft or SYE. 4 cylinder XJ's have a shorter DS and was a temp fix over a SYE.

The 25 years old carpet had to go....luckily no rust :) invested $100 in sound deadening and sound insulation and $350 on a new carpet from ACC so the back is almost done...then will tackle the front. It will make a nice quiet ride compared to factory standards.
