I'm waiting for a response but believe I just got screwed...
So I placed a LARGE dollar amount order online. Large to me anyways to the tune of close to $600. I recieved 1 item which was at $20 straight from Jeff himself. The other 2 items didn't make it. I recieved an email order confirmation and an email reciept at point when I ordered. But no tracking numbers or such was ever sent. This was 10-18-13.
I called and spoke on Monday 11-11-13 and dude said my other 2 items were coming straight from the vendor and that he'd look into it. Called me yesterday and told me he called and vendor said they were confirmed delivered last Wednesday? That was 11-6-13.
But here's the kicker... He said "Yea, they said they put it by your side door"??? I don't even HAVE a side door. I kept my cool and explained that unless dude can walk on air to place it by my BACK door, I didn't think my dogs would allow such? And besides, I have a covered porch at the front door? I asked him to confirm the address where it was sent and still waiting on a response...
I've ordered alot lately from Ebay, Amazon and even vendors on NC4x4 and everything has been delivered correctly on my front porch. Probably 40-50 orders in the past 3-4 months. No problems what-so-ever.

Any advise while it's still fresh???

Been a while on NC4x4... But always had good luck with advice here.

First off I'll say I'm starting to steer clear of JBG 1) They're customer service has seriously declined over the last couple years. 2) If an item is out of stock they usually don't tell you until you try reaching them, then they tell you your whole order was held because 1 item was backordered. 3) They're becoming more and more a middle man.

Beyond that...doesn't sound like this is necessarily a JBG issue, so contact the courier and they should be able to help. I've had this happen a couple times where something gets left in a mail bag or brought to the wrong house. They've always been able to tell me when and where the item became 'lost'...and have often times sent tracked down the driver and had him go back and pick it up where it was actually left. So far, I've had good samaritans, or where it got dropped off...those people just forward it. That said, if it was delivered, I wouldn't hold your breath on actually getting it.

I don't even know who the courier was??? Nothing else, I guess I can keep hounding JBG until I get something out of them... But all I know is if I don't get answers, this will continue to Pirate and FSB. And whoever else will listen. and I've probably ordered $1,000 worth from JBG in the past 2-3 years. Mostly for other people but regardless, they have me in the log by just giving my zip code. Guess I'm the only Ford nut in Durham???

I'd demand a tracking number first off...then try calling whoever delivered the the first item. Sad to say, but I don't think this will shock anyone on FSB.

I had a fedex order that didnt show up last year. Fedex tracked it and claimed to have spoken with delivery driver who claimed package was left by front door. 3 months later a guy from the other side of town came and brought the package, it had been left at his house and he had not found it until then (must not go on frt porch much).

Dont believe it when the driver says he left it....

Call your credit card company and dispute the charge. Send JBG an email saying that the charge has been disputed. They will fix it or be out the $$. It may suck for the business, but Im not going to pay for something I didnt get.

Fedex regularly leaves packages 4 houses up from me. USPS regularly leaves packages 6 doors up from me. I am #2201, Fedex drops off at #2101, USPS drops off at #2001. USPS has also delivered stuff addressed to me to my mom's house, on the other side of town (uncommon last name). My shop is on the back of the lot, 50' from the house. Once UPS left a package at the man door of the shop...UPS tracking showed it was left at "back door". I had already started a claim when I found it. My regular drivers are good....UPS will even call my cell when he is on the way, especially if it is an next-day delivery. Substitute drivers are the ones that screw up.

X2 on calling your CC company...they'll contact the vendor and get him digging.

I have no qualms with JBG. That said, I never buy anything from them online. I will always call it in and verify quantities. If something is out of stock, I'll pass on that item. There are very few vendors that I think do a great job with customer service.

Your credit card co should get their attention on the matter

Well, I have to say I panicked a tad early. The end result: the vendor shipped my stuff to somewhere in Illinoise. Someone got an early Christmas. :-) But I guess I got a duplicate order on it's way. JBG rep said he hated it for the vendor but he assured me I would either get my order or money back. I asked for a tracking number this time...
No problems at all with JBG service knowing it wasn't their fault.
