Jellico?

x2

I got to ride with some folks out there when they had the first EROCC comp. It was a blast. I have been to a bunch of comps there over the last several years. Its a great place to go spend a weekend wheeling. There were a lot of good private wheeling/trail riding places close to Jellico also.

As much as everybody pissed and moaned over the $30 yearly permit at Harlan, they'll have a heart attack over the $25 a day fee at Jellico.

I'd pay that in a sec. The ability to run those types of obstacles all in close proximity and not to far from a parking area is way worth it..

X2, Mike.

I think we are going to find out we have some decisions to make, individually, about how much we spend to ride. With the looming closure of more and more public trails, private parks will sprout up. Initial start up and maintenance costs are high and to stay in business daily use fees will have to keep pace with spending, disregarding profit. The days of riding for free or for $5 are gone or are going fast. Uwharrie is a steal at $5 and I would expect that to increase IF the trails continue to be open in years to come.

I totally agree and dont have a problem payin, but we all know their will be those who will refuse to pay and insist that they should be able to ride wherever and not pay.Maybe this will weed out all the cheap asses.
