JK Dana 44's

Is there a difference between the JK Rubi and non-Rubi 44's besides the locker in them?

The rear JK rubicon axles have a different size carrier bearings and 32 spline shafts.

so, dumb question...

if I ended up with a non rubicon 44, is this something I could change? My plan is/was to get a JK 44 and add 35 spline shafts and ARB air locker. Could I add a larger carrier bearing?

You can add the 35 spline ARB and shafts w/o issue for a fact
