What are you JK owners doing about side mirrors when your doors are off?

I haven't actually done this but I've read some forums where guys have taken 2" round mirrors and mounted them onto the flat side of their AC vents. Don't think it's technically legal for Hwy use though...

I have a set of the mirrors that are on a metal rod that slides in the upper door hinge, they are crap, they wiggle so much you can't see. I just look back now.
