Stepson hit a deer in the 2010 JKU, trying not to submit to insurance so doing a driveway repair.

Is it posible to get, and/or replace just the passenger plastic part of the radiator support? Or do I need to pull and replace the entire thing? I can't see any obvious damage on the metal parts. The headlight was pushed back and broken is all....

I seem to recall a 3D printer thread... Seems like the worst case scenario is you print one out and attach it.

I'd have to go out and check my 2010 JKU to see how the plastic piece connects with the metal.

Deer is comprehensive. Won’t go against you. Just food for thought
And if you bagged the deer, food for the table as well...

Check this out. $30 might get you a useable replacement.

Radiator itself is fine, just the support plastic part that holds the headlight is wrecked. And fender, and grille.

It's a 279k 2010, insurance will total it given its 4th front end hit. Trying to avoid the bad title and higher insurance for the rebuilt title. And the kid has a lesson to learn (long story)

Depending on your deductible it may not be worth filing with insurance anyway but in my past experience insurance isn't any higher for a rebuilt titled vehicle than it is normally.

Back to the damaged bracket. I'd say you have a few options:
1. You may be able to find the obscure part number and order it from eBay, Amazon, or parts dealer
2. See if a junkyard has a JK you can pick and pull it off of
3. Frankenfix it with epoxy and some reinforcing brackets
4. See if it is 3D printable

I sourced a core support locally and threw that in, waiting for him to decide if he wants to pay for flat style plastic or just get one from a yard. Pulled the current fender with the winch on the SXS

Go flats.. I've had a set of slim fenders sitting in my garage for the last three years. I keep thinking I'll get around to installing them. The reality is I will mount them when I manage to rip a stock fender off while wheeling.
