We started with a 2wd used JKU as we know we are swapping the drive train, axles, suspension.
The Axles were pulled then the body was lifted off the frame.

The next step was cut off all the old mounts that we were no longer going to use.

LS, TH400 and Atlas
We are using Chevy 1 ton axles in this rig. Shown below is the GM 14 bolt FF rear axle. We are using a full blown competition truss on this axle. It consists of a HD inner truss over the differential which ties into a pinion guard via a bolt on bridge. Next is the full length truss which ties into the interior truss. This setup is extremely HD! You can also see our bolt on disc brake brackets for the 14 bolt in the pictures along with the HD Motobilt Diff Covers

What is the reason for a TH400? Just curious why you wouldn't do a transmission that is more street friendly with OD like a 4L60/65/80.

Regardless, I'm sure the build will come out great.

Wondering the same, you are already running an LS motor so you wouldn't have to run a separate trans controller. A 4L80E will be just as strong as a TH400.

Customer is building a beast of a motor this is not going to be a daily driver/hwy vehicle. We are running a Reid Racing TH 400 case with a host of goodies. This being said this is what the customer wanted
