Guy up the street from me, has a 1981 John Deere 212 Mower. It has the Kohler ( I think 12HP) with a 3 blade 42" cutting deck, PTO. It turns over but has a weak battery or weak wiring/ground so we couldn't get it to run just yet. But it does turn over. Could use a clean up, fresh coat of paint and some new wiring, but other than that, appears to be SOLID.
Anyone have info on these mowers? I've done some searching and found similar condition and models with a 38" deck going for $900+ Hell, Restored ones going for $3K, but that's fully restored.
