Chris in NOT a tree hugger trust me, he's more of a tree hitter. I should have went ahead and cut that one down. He defintely ain't skeered!
 
There's a deep creek on his property that I was going through. The path was between two trees, one of which we marked to cut down. The creek at this area is relatively dry minus about a foot wide section in the bottom. I went down into the creek fine and started up it when my rear tires dug in and I no longer had traction. My jeep had slid to the left on the hill and I was attempting to back up a bit and hit it again. I knew the tree was there but I have a master cylinder problem so very little brakes. Well needless to say I started to back up and the brakes wouldn't hold so I slid down and into the tree. Burst out the back glass and crushed the top of the body in a bit. I laughed all the way out of the jeep. heheh I ended up having to winch up the other side. (Best $300 I've ever spent by the way. If you don't have a winch you should really get one. Saved my butt many many times.) There was no going back even if I could have gotten away from the tree because my rear bumper was in the embankment.

I took some pictures with Travis' wife's camera. I'll have her email them to me soon so you guys can see. Otherwise, just come out to Josh's party and you'll get to see it in person. I have no plans on replacing the glass and probably won't replace the hatch either. Definitely going with an interior cage soon and contemplating hacking the rear of the body and tying in a tube frame and 4-linking the rear. It'll be quite a while before that happens. (Not to mention plenty more body damage.)

Oh yeah, the other body damage... It wasn't too bad. I was re-arranging his rock pile in attempts to find new lines. (Also known as Mr. Chris being goofy.) I managed to use the rear quarter panels to pivot around some rocks. :p Also have some dents/gouges on the passenger rear door.
 
Hey Micky, I still plan on coming out Friday night to help you set up. Let me know if you need me to bring anything. (chairs, dishes, chainsaw, goat to sacrifice..whatever.)

Oh yeah, what time are we supposed to show up Saturday? I don't recall you specifying a time. If I missed it then I blame the smack I took in the head on your rock pile. :D
 
Hey Chris and everybody else, if ya'll want to come around 11-12 on Saturday we're gonna try to eat at 12:30. Even if you do have brain damage Chris, WE AIN'T EATIN GOAT!:shaking: I'll be out at the house all evening on Friday, so whenever you want to stop by an BS come on over. I was always kind of partial to sheep. Much more gentle.

Well for the time being my new rig is still under construction but I'd still like to come hang out and watch. Have you got anyone bringing their four wheelers out. I can bring my outlaw to get around on if that would be aight? Looks like it'll be a great time.

Hey Mars, sent u a pm. Yeah come on out and laugh at Chris beatin up the cherokee. By the way, your work underneath got tested out hard over the weekend. If you can make something Chris proof, you should make tanks for a living.
 
Well I haven't heard anything from him so I guess it all held up well. You should'a seen how he loaded his jeep on the trailer when he picked it up from the shop. I was scared to say the least. I'll see everybody there Saturday.
 
Well he tried once forward and it didnt work so he backed up and hit it wide open. I just knew he was going through the tailgate of his dodge. He definitely has no regard for breakage:D
 
Hey Chris, it's about time to put that interior cage in. :) There's enough body damage now that an exo doesn't make much sense anymore. heheh

Thanks for the birthday wishes Paul, I appreciate it. Hate you have to work man, but they'll be alot pics and videos of the party up. I may plan on another ride at the house soon, and hopefully you can make it out then. Thanks again.

Looks like my buddy Ritchie and his wife and kids will be riding out with me. He's bringin a waggy on 36's and his 4 wheelers I think he's Big4x4blazer on here.
