Dixie Innovations is attending the ECORS (East Coast Offroad Racing Series) event at Durhamtown Off Road Park on taking place July 7th and we want to invite you!
July 7 ECORS makes it debuit in the great state of Georgia at Durhamtown Plantation in Union Point, just east of Atlanta! Durhamtown is well known as a world class facility in the MX and ATV/SxS markets but little know they do have some great 4x4 truck trails! Durhamtown has developed a "GP" track that was specifically designed with ECORS trucks/Jeeps/buggies/UTVs in mind. This new track boasts 1.5 miles of wide rolling jumps, whoops, table top jumps, and steep decents and climbs. With it being situated in a valley, its natural layout provides first class access by spectators to see 100% of the course from one location. To add, ECORS will utilize another 1.5 miles of trails through the woods, forcing drivers to be fast AND technical to avoid rocks, trees, and mud as they wind through the 4x4 trails and back to the GP track!
If you are looking at coming in for the ECORS event at Durhamtown, we highly suggest coming early! With Independence Day just a couple days before the ECORS race, Durhamtown has filled its entire week with various MX events, ATV races, freestyle shows, fireworks, and a concert! Make a vacation out of it! Durhamtown has great RV spots, camping spots, and even offers primitive and first class cabins for the week or weekend! If you get hungry, they have a restaurant on site. Need a mechanic or want to rent a bike or quad, they have the resources on staff all week!
ECORS Schedule:
Friday:
Pre-running starts at Noon
Open obstacle course competiton under the lights! Open to any 4x4.
Saturday:
8am UTV racing
10am NC 4x4 Class C Unlimited racing
12:30pm Carolina Truggies Class B Modified racing
3pm Ironman 4x4 Fab Class A stock racing
Awards ceremony @9pm in the "chicken house" meeting area/bar
PARK FEES:
$20.00 PER VEHICLE....Includes 1 Driver
$5.00 EACH ADDITIONAL PASSENGER
$10.00 Spectator fee
CHILDREN 10 & UNDER FREE (4X4 AREA ONLY)
