July 4th???

I was just talking to some buddies about a possible ure trip going up there that thurs night but not 100% sure. I think the concern is where ever you go its going to be slammed

I may be up at callalantee as well. If i could convince the lady to camp that weekend, is there anywhere nearby, a little more campground-ish? IE better facilities and stuff?
 
Ill probably be in in callaantee as well. Should be there friday morning until sunday morn.

Looking at going to Cal for a day trip on the 4th. Boss busted bubble, gotta work the fifth :( Maybe have a few rigs from the Asheville area with us. All in the works.
 
Someone needs to light a fire under my ass so i can finish my cage and make it to callalantee on this weekend. That, and find me a trailer......
 
Well, I thought I'd have the Jeep ready to go by now but the rock gods must be against me going out on the fourth.:(

I was talking to ROck Hill Matt and we may head out to URE the 4th and come back the 5th.
May have to pass on the poker run.
 
If you remember, my front locker was not working at URE last time. I had to order parts to fix that. Just got it done and I find my custom trans mount is shifting around, so now I have more to do to get it fixed.
 
321 n to Boone, in Boone turn beside wendy's/bojangles to left, follow it till it goes to 2 lane and turn right (north) to next stop light, turn left follow that into mountain city, in mountain city go to 3rd stop light ( I think) turn right beside the big gas station go thru town to furnance creek road (there is a big sign) turn right and follow the signs.
