Hey guys, I was hit by a deer last december and now I am ready to fix my car... I've called the local yards in the phone book, but no luck finding anything for my car...

2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart
Color: Cool Silver Mist
Parts Needed: Bumper Cover, Drivers side fender, drivers door, driver side power mirror...

Anybody know any good places to check out near charlotte/salisbury?

What did you do to piss the deer off enough so that the deer hit your car, instead of the other way around? :flipoff2:

Acctualy I know a guy whose truck was hit by a deer. Guess he got a jump on it as he drove by and it didn't get spooked till after it realized it was passed by headlights so I guess it tried to catch up to the front but ended up bouncing off the bed of the truck just behind the cab. It provided us with many jokes for a few days. [/endhijack]

very good, my father got parts from them a while back and they had everything they needed.

I've used car-part.com to get all sorts of things for my Nissan. You are right parts for these things are really hard to find (late-model "foreign").

I've had limited luck with pull-a-part. I like that their prices are fair and all, but it's a crap-shoot that you end up with something that isn't all scratched or dented up. I went to get some body parts for a 99 Sunfire and while there were 5 same-generation Sunfires on the lot, the parts I needed were only available on one of them and the paint on them was horrible. I figured out after the fact that I could have bought a fender new from rockauto for as much as I paid for the used one.

You can get most of the parts you are looking for brand new from www.rockauto.com. They don't currently have the driver's door. Any chance you can pull it out? Looks like for the other stuff, new parts would be right around $200. If it were me, I'd do a combination of new and old parts if you want it to look factory. If you just want it car-shaped again, start with pull-a-part and lace up your hiking boots. At least they put all the import cars in one area, so you aren't rummaging through a bunch of domestics to hopefully find a Mitsu.

Guys the thread was 8 years old until a spammer revivied it today
