As some of you know we closed down for a couple months at the end of 2010 to undergo some changes. We found that some areas of operation needed to be smoothed out and we needed to step back and take a look at some things. At the beginning of 2011 be moved locations into Matthews NC, not far from were we were before. We have a little bit bigger shop now with dedicated working areas for welding, fab and maintenance. This has proved to speed up production in a huge way, we've picked up a couple more tools for fab work that have helped us out greatly.

The sales side of things went through major construction as well, we have Josh (owner of the well know JK we built) in sales now handling all of our sales, quotes, pricing and the website to keep me in the shop working were I need to be. I've decided that we needed to start stocking a decent deal of parts. Most of the work we do is suspension, tube work and steering so that's what we have here. Our office doubles as a small show room to display some of the parts that we stock.

Our old website needed some work, while it was effective it wasn't 100% user friendly and some changes needed to be made there as well. We now have our new website which looks much better and is way more capable than the old one. We are adding more products daily which should total around 2000 parts when its all said and done so bare with us for a couple months there.

We also plan on being much more active in the sport as well, we were able to make it to a ECORS race with our trailer of tools as free support for all the racers, we'll be at the Food Lion Auto Fair next month and plan on racing a couple classes in ECORS next year. Anything we can do to help support the industry and grow the sport we'll be part of.

We're here for you guys and we'd love the opportunity to earn your business, we handle everything from general maintenance and small bolts on lifts and accessories to the most extreme things would could imagine....pretty much anything 4 wheeling related.

Thanks,

Alex

You've come a long way Alex, you should be proud. When are you going to have a grand reopening? And I better be invited! LOL Let me know if I can help.

Alex The shop looks sweet ! You made a great choice in hiring Josh. He took great care of me with the PRP seats, even called me back after the order was in just to let me know.. You quoted me a very competitive price and provided great service ! I don't expect much service these days, so I was happy to get the call..

I see a partially completed aluminum fuel cell in the pic. I I think I saw you mention in another thread you can do custom fuel cells? Is this true?

I'll need to call and order me a shirt !

Also good to hear your getting a trailer out to events. Personally I think that's huge in our more/less grassroots hobby, and where other shops fall short...

Looks good. I'm glad to see you are going to try to get out to some of the events. Are you going to the Toy run next weekend?

shop looks sweet ! i want one of those shirts in xl .

Shop does look great! Yours? or lease? Like the insolation, should heat pretty cheap, and or cool.
That's a lot of inventory! and even more $$ of it all.
I see the ORI's, cost out the door? Do you supply parts as well for them, like shredder valves and such? Do you rebuild or do you send them off?

Josh does seem to be a good choice for a front man, I mean he should, he has most of what you sell in his JK!

Good luck

Congratulations you guys! The company has come a long way in the past few years and im really glad to see all the hard work is paying off. I think Josh has been a great addition to CT, he definitely took care of me on my new PRP seats and it's nice having the phone answered everytime I call or atleast a response when I leave a message! I like knowing I can go to the shop and ask someone a question and not feel stupid for asking it, everyone is helpful and makes Carolina Truggies the way it is! I wish the best of luck to all of you!

Few more weeks till you guys start my cage :)

Sooo... do you guys keep any heims in stock?
Yeah we've got a couple.....:flipoff2:

Thanks Terry, I'd like to do a grand reopening at some point but dont really know what to do, I definitely want you to come down and do the hot dog thing though. Any thoughts????

Shop looks great. Website is kick ass
Thanks man, site took some time to figure out what we needed but it worked out great. As soon as its actually finished it will be kick ass.

Josh is a solid dude, and he did turn out to be a great fit. He takes care of every one promptly and keeps me out of the office.
I can build you a fuel cell no problem if you need it, we've done several.
This is the feedback I've needed for the whole racing thing, at times it doesn't seem like we're needed but for others we were a life saver. I'd like to get some feedback from the racers and see if its something that they really want at the race. I know its tough for some guys to get a rig and a bunch of tools out there for support if something goes wrong.

Are you going to the Toy run next weekend?
I want to but I'm not sure if we can make it. I'm taking the guys out to SEMA this November and I gotta pick and choose my stuff from now until then wisely. When my buggy gets underway here in a couple months I'll be everywhere.

I'll give you a shirt if you can get me those axles.....lol

We lease it right now, we have it for a couple years, after that we're going to build a bigger shop and one with AC so we can work harder in the summer. There are thoughts on shotcreting (spelling?) an area to test rigs out and have small gatherings and what not but we'll got to that when the time comes. Inventory wise I didn't want anyone to have the reason to have to order from the West Coast on these kind of parts, we got em here for the same if not cheaper than everyone else. We've sell to good handful of other shops and it keeps everyone rolling smoother...its a win win. I don't really do ORI stuff, I have all the seals, shims, valves and everything for Fox stuff. I get all the ORI stuff from Brandon at Rides. Those ORI's are for an upcoming job but if I can get another set in time Ill part with those. Price wise I have no idea, call me.
