WHEW! I just registered for my last semester of graduation and put in my application for graduation.
It's been a long hard road. I started in 1998 right out of high school, screwed around for 4 years and was asked to take a semester off by the school due to my wonderful GPA.
I took one class per semester till about 2007 when I gave up. I figured I had a good job that paid well and I had 5 years experience at that point so why did I need it.
Then my younger brother, who is 9 years younger than me, graduated from Carolina. My son was asking me if we had done that, I told him that Mommy did but I didn't. When he asked me why not, I decided I was going to finish up. I started back part-time the day my youngest son was born last year. 9 classes to finish. I've been taking classes straight since second summer session last year. 10 credit hours this semester and then next semester 6 and I am DONE.
I can't wait to hang that diploma on my office wall and have this chapter of my life OVER!
