Like... 10 minutes ago i just ordered my
3'' Rough Country Lift.
Full coil's with a add a leaf in the rear.

anything i need to know before i install the lift?
tips or ideas?!

right now...? I guess you could start spraying bolts with PBlaster. Crawl under your Jeep, check out all the fasteners, make sure you have the right sockes, etc.
upper rear shock bolts rust up pretty quick.
Gather up specailty tools....coil spring compressor, borrow from AutoZone for free.
Make sure you have at least 2 C-clamps for the add-a-leaf.
I'm not sure if you're replacing any control arms. If you are, check to see if your XJ uses Torx fasteners. I don't think either my 95 or 99 did, but I've seen other people post that theirs did.
Did you get extended bumpstops? A lot of times they arent inlcuded in the kit, but you'll want some. Up front, you have to remove the coil to change, so you might as well install them while you're swapping coils.

Thanks for the advice. i have got all the tools ready to go for the lift installation..
but i totally forgot all about the bump stops! Will stock one's work for now?
I have currently saved up just enough money to buy the lift... and getting use tires from my friend.. so im kinda broke! ahhahah :)

Installed that lift about ten years ago....I extended my front control arms but it is not really needed.

Rode that lift for years before XJ lifts really came around

the stock bumps will work..until you flex it too much! They keep the front axle out of the fenders, and in extreme situations, track bar off the oilpan, front driveshaft out of the exhaust downpipe, upper pass.side CA from hitting the tranny cooling lines.

While you have the coils out, you could drill a hole in the coil bucket for 1-2 hockey pucks to limit travel, and continue using the factory bumps. How are they frotn bumps? If they are in bad shape, you really should swap them out while the coils are out.
Rear bumpstops can be done at anytime. I actually think they are more important in saving the leaf springs, comapred to coils. This is my experince from ECORS season 1 of beating on stock XJ parts.
