K5 Blazer or stick with XJ, any advise on K5 setup,44front, 60 rear

I think you would be fine with a K5 on 10 bolt axles, 40" stickies, jb weld the crack at the box and a rusty frame if you put a nice dorkel on. Maybe corrugated drain pipe to increase the venturi effect and increase the bounce back from hard hits.

The street driven was over for me when I changed to 35 spline stubs and flanges.A full Detroit in the front w flanges makes it not very streetable.Mine has 42's but its not that tall.When the 1/4 panel is pushed back past the tire its not too hard to clear big tires.
 
That XJ is worth at least 4x that of the K5 especially with a doubler Given that the stock XJ axles hold up to 38" tires, they are magical. Those 2 things alone double the value of the XJ...

well I would've thought this was general chit chat too but still doesn't give people right to go to the threads and be assholes. but I got my good responses at the beginning to make up my mind so doesn't matter.
