I know a guy that did that on purpose with a Metro. 
But.... wtf. Acetylene bottle in a closed vehicle, IN HIS GARAGE... and his first instinct was to hit the power window switch. Wow.

HMMMM .... acetylene burns. Spark plus gas equals boom with fire. I didn't see any burn marks.
