Wow, you're not kidding.
It's almost to the point of extreme annoyance.
Almost distracts from KDE being horrifically slow on this laptop for some reason (dual core, 2 gig ram, etc). Even typing lags behind.
So far, KDE is 
, but I'll refrain from final judgment until after I figure out WHY it's acting up.
