How is it done? I just replaced my old broken down toolbox on my truck and I'd like to keep the shine the new one has. I tried using some of that polish a few years ago on my old one and I recall it being a waste of money due to it having absolutely no effect on it.

Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish

Little (mostly) red and white can that's about $3 I think at most Wal-Marx stores in the automotive cleaning supplies section.

I have stripped down diecast cars and polished them to a mirror shine with that stuff!

The Mothers polish is pretty awesome stuff. Used it a decent bit on some aluminum projects for school this year and on a few sets of shift knobs I made.
